16.02.2006 : Suspect-packages.com goes live

After a several month rebuild, suspect-packages.com has today gone live, sporting an all new look, more site features and of course utilising the XML Infinity Integral server to make it all work.

In the middle of 2005 Pete Rowland, Managing Director of Suspect Packages decided he was going to offer music downloads, as well as continue on with selling CDs and Vinyl as normal. They also wanted to deliver a streaming radio show that they could manage.

Once the technical specification was done it was recommended to Suspects that they could go a traditional database driven route, like the had previously or use the XML Infinity server - they were a borderline case where either methodology could work just as well.

Looking at the pricing structure and the way upgrades to the system benefit all users, Suspect Packages decided to opt for the XML Infinity solution.

Entirely new systems had to be written to accomodate the Suspect Packages site including a real-time order management bolt-on, the means of integrating with Macromedia's Flash player and setting up the means by which people can securely download tracks that they have purchased.

After testing for over a week to make sure everything was set up properly the new site was launched today and can be seen at www.suspect-packages.com

We would be the first company to say that the Internet is making communications easier and making virtual teams of people more simple to manage, however there is something inherently "right" about sitting down with a client working through a strategy to solve a problem rather than doing it exclusively by phone and email. We pride ourselves on working with our clients in very close partnership - our "one size doesn't fit all" mantra isn't just to do with how a CMS functions, it's to do with the very nature of the way our client's organisations operate.  Read more >>

11/04/2008 - Board-worx website live

This afternoon www.board-worx.com was launched after being developed using the XML Infinity Integral server. The Board Worx website is the most extended site currently managed by the XML Infinity System with over two dozen different product lines and over two thousand products currently managed within the system. This figure is set to grow significantly through 2008 as the summer season bring a constant stream of new products onto the site.  Read more >>
